Simple & Powerful Stereo Bass Amplifier / How to Make Stereo Amplifier with D718 Transistor


Instructions to make a sound system speaker D718 transistor, with specific resistors and a potentiometer .For that you can follow these methods.

Components Needed:

 1. NPN Transsitor  (Like D718 x 4 or Similar)

 2. Resistors: 82 Ohm/.5w(2 pieces), 47k/.25w (2 pieces), 100k/.25w (2 pieces)

 3. Potentiometer: 47k Ohm (6-pin)

 4. Power supply 12V 3A Maximum

 5. Heat sinks ( recommended for the transistors)

 6. Speakar or Woofer 50+50W 8 Ohm

 7. Capacitors: 2200uF/25V (2 pieces)for filtering, 10uF/50V (2 pieces) for audio input


Understanding the Circuit:

The speaker circuit will use D718 semiconductors in Class a setup. giving both effectiveness and sound loyalty. Capacitors are utilized for mixture, separating, and bypassing purposes, while resistors are utilized for biasing and setting working focusing.


Building the Amplifier Circuit:

Power Supply: Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the collector of the 1 & 3 Number D718 transistors. Connect the negative terminal to the 2 & 4 number transistor emitter (ground).


Biasing Resistors: Connect a 47k resistor between the base and emitter of the first two transistors for biasing and the last two transistors for biasing.


Feedback Resistors: Connect a 100k resistor between the collector and base of 1st and 3rd transistor.


Emitter Resistors: Connect an 82 Ohm resistor in  with the emitter of 1st two transistor and last two transistor to stabilize the biasing.


Coupling Capacitors: Connect a 10uF/50V capacitor between the audio input source and the base of the 1st - 3rd transistors. These capacitors block DC while allowing AC signals to pass.


Bypass Capacitors: Connect two 2200uF/25V capacitors with the first two transistor collectors and emitters and the last two transistor collectors and emitters for filtering.


Potentiometer: Connect the 47k 6-pin potentiometer as a volume control across the output terminals.


Output Connections: Connect the output terminals of the amplifier circuit to the speakers.


Testing and Adjustments:

Test the intensifier with a little sound sign prior to interfacing the speakers to guarantee rightful usefulness. • Change the potentiometer to control the volume. • Screen the temperature of the semiconductors during activity and  add heatsinks
